Krystal Surface Solution offers “STAR Gel”(Pickling Gel / Pickling Paste Stainless Steel form) ” which is used to clean weld seams and surrounding areas. This (Pickling Gel Star Gel) is applied with brush without doing wire brushing or grinding or buffing. This STAR Gel (Pickling Gel / Pickling Paste Stainless Steel form) removes annealing colors, discoloration, rust particles near weld, heavy scales and welding affected area by heat These are helpful to detect pinholes after welding.
COVERAGE :
This will cover approximately 90 to 100 meters of weld seam per kg. Our STAR Chemicals are tested & approved by famous I. I. T. Bombay under ASTM A380 standards.

APPLICATION PROCESS :
First apply “STAR Gel” on Stainless Steel welded seam & nearby area with nylon bristles brush. Then it requires contact time approximately of 5 to 30 minutes depending on grade & thickness of SS and temperature of SS surface. After this time span wash with water, properly with pressurized water jet spray or light scrubbing with plastic scrubber. Use plastic scrubber only if required. Then you will get totally silvery white surface without grinding or buffing process. For cleaning pickling and passivation of SS equipments, SS tanks and pipelines, STAR Chemicals includes STAR Spray (Semi- Gel form), STAR Dip (Liquid Form), STAR Pass-1 and STAR Pass-2 .
